Menu settings

1. Purpose
Detail instruction for restaurant manager to set up menu: Import from excel and Add items manually.

2. Options to set up menu
2.1. Import from excel file
(Use this if your restaurant already had menu in excel file
a. Instruction steps   
To import menu from excel file, proceed as following :
1. At Menu settings on the getting started screen, select Import from Excel file.
2. Download the sample excel template provided by the software.

3. Copy your menu to the downloaded excel template.

  • Please see instructions for inserting items in the Sheet Example of your downloaded excel file.
4. Save and close the excel file.
5. At Menu settings on getting started screen, select Import from Excel file.
6. Upload your excel file filled with data to the software.

Note: If there is a duplicate item ID in your excel file and in the system, select 1 of 2 following solutions:
  • Select Update, if you want to update data from the excel file that has duplicate item ID with the software.
  • Select Ignore, if you want to keep the data of item that has duplicate ID in software, not to update from the excel file.
7. Select Continue.
8. Check data to see how many valid and invalid items to import to the software.

9. Select OK => valid items will be imported and the software will show you results.

10. Select Close
2.3. Add items manually (This option is often used when restaurant manager wants to enter each items manually to the menu)
Instruction steps:  
` To add each item to the menu, proceed as following:
1. At Menu settings on getting started screen, select Add items manually.
2. Press Add.
