Instruction on how to set up CUKCUK.VN system in offline working mode

Purpose: The restaurant should apply offline working mode in either of these cases: the restaurant deploys multiple devices or its Internet is not stable.
Condition to work offline on CUKCUK.VN: 
  • All devices must be connected to the same network.
  • For the PC installing CUKCUK Server, it is necessary to set a fixed IP address for PC.
Network connection: In offline working, devices are connected to the offline server (the PC installs CUKCUK Server) via an IP address.
Instruction steps:
1. Install CUKCUK Server. See details here.
2. Set a fixed IP address for the server.
2.1. On Windows screen, type Run.

2.2. Type cmd.

2.3. Type ipconfig. IP of the server IPv4 Address, for example: 192.168.16.39

2.4. Right click the network icon on the bottom right of the screen, select Open Network and Sharing Center.

2.5. Click
 Local Area Connection.

2.6 Click 
Properties.

2.7. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), click Properties.

2.8. Fix an IP address for the server: 
Enter IP Address according to the found IPv4 Address. 
Subnet mask is automatically filled by the system. 
Enter Default gateway according to IP Address with the final digit as 1. For example if IP address is 192.168.16.39, Default gateway is 192.168.16.1.


3. Start offline server.

3.1. Open CUKCUK Server software, the system defaults to start. Other devices can send data to this offline server.

3.2. If Server is deactivated, activate it by Activate server.

3. Log in on device in Offline connection.

4. If failed to log in, proceed setup on the offline server as below:
4.1. Turn off Firewall

        4.2. Turn off UCA (User Accounts Control) 
          To turn off UAC (User Accounts Control) on cashier's device, follow these steps:
            • Click Start, type UAC in Search programs and files box.
            • Select Change User Account Control settings.

            • On User Account Control Settings screen, scroll down to Never Notify.
            • Click OK.


          4.3. Fix IP according to MAC address
            Enter IP on router. For example on TP Link router 
              • Open a website browser and enter IP address of Router. Normally it is 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.0.1
              • Enter Username, Password. Default Username as admin, Password isNhập thông tin admin or 1234 or 1111.
              • Click Log in.

              • Click IP & MAC Binding, select Binding Setting.
              • Click Add New.

              • Enter MAC Address of cashier's device/printer. (MAC Address of cashier's device/printer is usually available on the device/printer)
              • Enter IP Address of cashier's device/printer
              • Click Save.
